Jennie
Registered Manager
Hello, I’m Jennie, and I’m the Manager at Butterfly House Dementia Care. I joined the Butterfly team in July of 2021 coming from another home in the local area, though have been working in care for 20+ years.
I started as a carer but decided to challenge myself in 2005 and train as a nurse at University, qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 2008. I thoroughly enjoy helping people and am passionate about Dementia care.
Lucy
Head of Administration
Hi there, I’m Lucy! You may know me as the person behind the emails.
I’ve worked behind the scenes at Butterfly House since March of 2020, having been involved in the care sector within my family business all throughout growing up. My role is to make sure everything is running smoothly, and everybody is happy!
Currently studying AAT registered courses, I am always keen to expand my knowledge and develop my understanding of a wide variety of areas.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my dog Aura, knit unusual items like fruit and vegetables, and get involved with the local Deaf community using my fluent skills in British Sign Language.
Vicky
Compliance Officer
My name’s Vicky and I’m the newest addition to Butterfly House. Having worked in care since I was 15 years old, progressing from Carer all the way to Registered Manager. With all my previous skills and experience, I am now a working Compliance Officer, ensuring visiting professionals are at ease and clued up in day-to-day ongoings.
I work alongside Jennie and Lucy to ensure Butterfly House is a safe, secure, and well-led environment. I am happy to engage and encourage the whole staff team to get involved and provide everybody knowledge and awareness of the background of our care.
Linda
Senior Care Assistant
I’m Linda. I’ve worked as a Senior Carer for many years, even before Butterfly House was Butterfly House!
I am passionate about my team and providing excellent care to all of our residents. With a strong work ethic, I can share my many years’ worth of knowledge with the entire care team, acting as a encouraging and approachable leader.
Harri
Senior Care Assistant
I’m Harrison (or Harri). I started working at Butterfly House as a carer during the start of the pandemic. While I was new to the care sector, I was happy and enthusiastic to care for the residents and learn to develop my skills. I am now a Senior Carer and motivated to use my knowledge to provide the best possible care I can!
Glenny
Senior Care Assistant
I’m Glenny and I’ve been working with Butterfly House since November 2020. Working at Butterfly House has given me new challenges and experience to help me grow as a carer and progress in my career.
I am studying to become a Mental Health Nurse as I am passionate about helping others and taking on new practices.
Lauren
Senior Care Assistant
My name’s Lauren and I have worked with Butterfly House since December of 2020.
I love working in care, having done so for over 10 years now. The residents are always my top priority and I enjoy getting to know them to allow me to personalise their care as much as possible.
I am a creative person and enjoy engaging the residents in fun and stimulating activities to make sure they are having the best possible time each day.
In my free time I like to paint and draw, along with cooking, and spending time partaking in dog training.
