From the moment I walked into Clevedon Court, I felt comfortable. The two members of staff I met were extremely attentive and helpful. I had been asked to choose a nursing home for my wife and knew immediately that this would be the one. She had been in the hospital for over seven weeks, recovering from a hip replacement operation, made more difficult by the fact that she has very advanced Parkinsons Disease rigidity and chronic pain from a major cervical spine operation, a few years earlier. This means that she will always need a tremendous amount of clinical, medical and nursing care. She is now a very happy full-time resident and everyone is coping with her problems magnificently. This applies to the nurses, carers, caterers and housekeeping staff. Without exception they have always been cheerful, helpful and kind, shown great concern and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them. Sadly, my wife is totally bedridden and needs regular half-hourly attention to keep her comfortable, which she unfailingly gets. It is a privilege and a pleasure to witness all the tender loving care that my wife always receives.
